It's a huge sin to brainwash a child against one parent.

This is both my parents and also extended family …. It’s horrific, terrifying and you feel like you have no one , no where to go and no one willing to understand , you live a life of fear abandonment, isolation etc etc . I also had to suffer through super cultish Christian religious abuse , C.S.A, I had grown up in a bubble yet with tiny access to the reality of the outside world . I as a child had to murder my soul in order to survive . The lack of self identity (who I am as a person ) even after 30yrs years of therapy and psychiatric help has helped however I made the best life I could with the cards I was dealt . I have two children and though I’ve done my best I still feel very much alone and alienated . I also have two sisters who I have support and helped them . through their things with our mum . Unfortunately our fathers are all very similar (type) . It’s horrible that parents triangulate their children against their parent(s) Do better is all I can say ……. Get help …… this is how generation trauma is created and continues on…..

This woman is obviously very enthusiastic about her subject but if she could slow down just a little bit we might be able to absorb it a little more easily. I understand the point she's making. That the less Affair attitude leads to the decline of a culture. But I think once we know that once we know that perhaps we can take steps to avert it. And frankly I don't think that accepting other people's differences is a decline. I think inclusion in a society is a positive thing so I don't agree with her judgment although I know if one reads history one sees it happening I just think that things can be done to prevent it. And that means stabilizing the population and including people and building community
